Forget Windows Notepad. It’s time for Evernote. I was having an onsite huddle with my Team Manager and always found that he kept looking at his phone after short intervals. After the meeting my inquisitiveness prompted him to tell me about this lovely application called Evernote. If you have used MS OneNote before then you will find this too very simple and intuitive. The USP is that this application is Cloud-based and supported across various platforms like Android, iOS, WebOS and off course Windows. With the free version you have a bandwidth cap of 60MB per month, which I found is quite sufficient. You can create Notebooks (similar to Windows folders) and within them you can create your own Notes. You can have Notebooks like Personal, Meetings, Project Updates, Misc and store all key information which you may need on a day to day basis. I have started using this app across all the Computing devices that I use and it has made my life very easy. If you haven’t tried this yet, you are definitely missing something. Why not download your copy from www.evernote.com today!
